Embark on the Eco Galaxy II's Naturalist Cruise to uncover the finest aspects of the Galapagos! This Expedition Cruise provides the opportunity to explore some of the most remarkable wildlife residing in the Galapagos Islands. Espanola, the eldest and potentially most verdant among the archipelago, boasts extraordinary hiking paths. These islands house numerous exceptional species. Anticipate encounters with the Espanola Mockingbird and Espanola lava lizard. Enjoy captivating dinghy excursions, snorkeling adventures, and discover insights into the human history of the Galapagos during our Floreana visit. Delight in snorkeling in the clear waters of San Cristobal, where relaxation with sea lions on white sandy shores awaits, alongside the chance to deepen your understanding of giant turtles. On Santa Cruz, witness the iconic Galapagos Giant Tortoises in their natural habitat, while also gaining insights into preservation efforts and scientific research. Santiago, once a haven for pirates, offers opportunities for hiking and dinghy exploration.

Day by day

Day 1: Baltra Island & Santa Cruz Island: Bachas Beach

Transfer to Baltra Island.

Bachas Beach

The beach is 1km long and located north of Santa Cruz Island. Bachas is the name of the site, which was given to it after the Second World War, when American soldiers left barges on the beach. The first colonizers couldn't pronounce the name barges correctly, so called Bachas.

Day 2: Santiago Island: Sullivan Bay & Bartolome Islands

Santiago Island: Sullivan Bay

Hiking and wet landing. The place is described as follows: the entire road, and island, are composed of lava flow that cover a large area. They still remain virtually undisturbed and do not erode. Lava Colonizers.

Bartolome Island

Activities to be carried out on this island include: walking, swimming, snorkeling and photography. The island has been formed by cones and pipes of lava. The path from the wet landing to south beach is through vegetation and mangrove swamps. North Beach: The activities will include swimming and snorkeling. From the peak of Bartolome, we can see the other islands such as Santiago, Rabida and Isabela. The Rock Pinnacle is home to penguins.

Day 3: Santa Cruz Island: Highlands & Charles Darwin Station
Day 4: Floreana Island: Punta Cormorant & Post Office Bay
Day 5: Española Island: Suarez Point & Gardner Bay
Day 6: San Cristobal Island: Interpretation Center & Transfer Out
